Using Quotiso

Quotiso is a free online AI quote generator and quote image maker. You can use the editor, generate quotes, and download images without creating an account. Creating an account lets you save your work, access it across devices, and publish to the community.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Quotiso. By using the product you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your content

You own the quote images you create with Quotiso. We do not claim ownership over your designs or the text you write.

By publishing a quote to the Quotiso community, you grant Quotiso a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that quote and its associated image on the platform and in promotional materials for Quotiso. This licence ends if you request removal of the published quote.

You are responsible for ensuring that the content you create and publish does not infringe on the rights of others.

Community and published quotes

Published quotes are visible to all Quotiso users and can be remixed by anyone. When another user remixes your published quote, they create an independent copy. Changes they make do not affect your original published quote.

You can request removal of your published quotes at any time by contacting us. Once removed, the quote image is deleted from our servers within 7 days. Remixes created by other users before removal are not affected.

User-uploaded photos in published quotes

You may use your own photos as background images in the Quotiso editor. If you publish a quote that contains your own uploaded photo, that photo becomes part of the publicly visible published quote stored on our servers. By doing this, you confirm that:

• You own the photo or have explicit permission from the rights holder to use it in publicly shared content.
• The photo does not include recognisable faces or personal information of individuals who have not consented to appear in publicly shared content.
• The photo does not infringe any third party intellectual property rights.

Quotiso does not review uploaded photos before publishing. Responsibility for the content of uploaded images lies entirely with the user who publishes them.

Content moderation

We actively monitor the community and reserve the right to remove any published quote without notice if it contains inappropriate imagery, offensive or hateful language, bad language in quote text, misleading information, or any content that violates these terms. Accounts that repeatedly publish content that requires removal may be suspended or terminated.

If you see a published quote that you believe should be removed, report it to us directly with the quote URL and the reason. We respond to all content reports within 48 hours.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Quotiso to create or publish content that:

• Is hateful, discriminatory, or harasses individuals or groups.
• Is defamatory, misleading, or intentionally false.
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrighted text or trademarked material.
• Promotes illegal activity or facilitates harm to others.
• Is sexually explicit or inappropriate for a general audience.
• Impersonates another person, brand, or organisation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Third party images and credits

All background images in Quotiso are sourced from Unsplash, Pexels, and Pixabay via their public APIs. These images are licensed under each platform's free content licence and are free for personal and commercial use. Quotiso does not own these images. The photographer name and a link to their source profile are displayed in the editor each time an image is used.

By using a background image from these sources in your quote, you are subject to that provider's licence terms. For commercial use of a specific image, verify the current licence directly with the provider. Licences can change and Quotiso cannot guarantee the accuracy of licence information at any given time.

If you upload your own image to the editor, you confirm that you hold the rights to use that image and take full responsibility for any copyright implications of its use.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

You can delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your personal data and saved work within 30 days. Published community quotes are removed on request at the time of deletion.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Liability and warranties

Quotiso is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or the accuracy of AI-generated content. Quote generation uses language models that can produce unexpected or inaccurate results. Review all generated content before publishing or sharing.

To the extent permitted by law, Quotiso is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the product, including loss of data or content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify account holders by email. Continued use of Quotiso after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
